GRIPT IS LIKE
MY THERAPY.

I tried so many gyms before GRIPT.

They just didn’t make you feel welcome, they didn’t know who you were and you were just another number.

I found GRIPT through social media. I was trying to find a place nearby so of course I turned to social media. I heard so many friends talk about them and tag them so I thought I would give them a go.

When I found them, I just loved how they did things differently. The support, nutrition, care, is so much better.

I’m in health care and so looking after my body has always been a passion of mine.

I feel like the team at GRIPT don’t push you to do ridiculous things like I’ve been encouraged to do at other gyms. They’re not about fad diets or crazy shortcuts. The nutritional consultations with Jack are amazing. I look at them like gospel.

Being in a nursing theatre, I can’t just go and grab a quick, healthy bite to eat from somewhere, so having a proper nutritional plan is so important to me.

In terms of the workouts, there have been so many times working with GRIPT where everything just makes sense, so many light bulb moments in training.

I’d been doing so many things the wrong way before GRIPT.

Nobody had ever corrected me before. I’d been squatting the wrong way, pushing my knees in a way that creates injury. Now I understand the proper technique that doesn’t hurt my body.

If you’re struggling with something, they teach you how to do it properly. You want to have full trust in the people who are instructing you.

They’re not about banging out the reps and moving on, like some of the other gyms. They work with you to perfect each part of your workout and it helps your body do it better. I haven’t had an injury the whole time I’ve been with GRIPT.

Because you’ve got the ability and muscle memory in the right areas, you can maintain your fitness. I work such long hours, so it’s great to be able to come here in the morning and look after my body to start a new day. GRIPT is like my therapy.

The thing I love best about GRIPT is that everyone around you is like-minded. They’re not here to be seen. You’re not in an environment where you’re getting judged. It’s friendly. You get welcomed by your name and you know that they care that you’re here.

When I wake up in the morning I know that Jack is standing in the gym waiting for me and you just don’t want to let them down – and you don’t want to let yourself down. You walk out of here satisfied and you walk out of here knowing that you’ve made an investment in your health.

Would I recommend GRIPT to my friends? Well, that’s a tricky one. On one had, I want to tell anyone who will listen about how amazing they are, but on the other hand, I kind of want to keep it my little secret.
